Intro

I bought Softube's Modular when it was launched  (2016) but have never got around to doing anything with it. I have just bought a new macbook and am about to buy a windows laptop for work and so now seems a good time to find out how to set it up.

I have bought a lot of musical software over the years but never really got on with it. I would prefer the physicality of hardware. Modular seemed worth a try as a compromise. I would like to install it as stand-alone as possible, i.e. without a DAW because I don't like those either.

I have emailed Softube today asking for some basic suggestions and will log my progress here.
